granted by the federal govt -> was this an executive order? was this a constitutional amendment? was this a federal law passed by legislature and signed by president? was this a precious decision by SCOTUS?

doesnt matter, stealing rights that were granted by SCOTUS to the federal govt 50 years ago only to have them rescinded by the same SCOTUS 50 years later is not a good look. no matter what side of the issue you are on.
rights should never be rescinded only expanded in our republic.

It does matter; for no human court is infallible. Now the issue has been judged fairly and correctly according to the letter of the Constitution and careful exegesis of the text.
And by the way, courts don't grant rights to people. They simply affirm or deny that the Constitution has in fact granted or not granted, respectively, such rights.

No one's rights were restricted, only correctly defined.
But their ruling on the 2nd amentment clearly does as you say.

The rights of the unborn were protected, so on balance, more people have rights today than they did last week. If a person lives in CA, why do they care what happens in TX.
No liberal has yet to answer the basic question. Outside of harm to the mother, how long does a woman have to decide on an abortion before a fetus earns some rights? 6 weeks? 15 weeks? 40 weeks? I'd be interested in your answer.

The court wasn’t established on granting a good look.
It did it’s job and for once a damn fine one at that. It corrected 50 yrs of what could be described as murder in many cases.
It protected the 2nd amendment in the same session.
Just this morning it ruled in favor of the 1st amendment
Hell of a week!

The right of unborn babies to live was expanded, at least in some states.

You used to have the right to own black people. They fixed that. Sadly, that ruling also angered the Democrats.

I'd like to just throw this out there, because so many are crying over a woman's right to choose.
It seems to me that there is an abundance of right to choose when it comes to procreation, no sex, contraception etc.
The right to choose lies in the actions leading to the pregnancy, the pregnancy itself is a consequence.
So women still have plenty of rights today, let's not confuse that with consequences.
