Doesnt mean they will use every Maiden race on that day. I doubt a meet like Saratoga will run 5 Maiden races per day

I saw the book. One thing I do see is Saratoga's tradition of two year old races, lots of turf and an abundance of route races.
However, purses appear to be lower. NOw last season NYRA management saw to add $10,000 to some races if 8 or more enter the gate. We'll see.
Hopefully the firestorm of the sky is going to fall predictions will not come true.

BTW did anyone notice the number of substitute races? I guess NYRA mgmnt wants to make sure there are as few short fields as possible.

DO the purses look the same as well? I thought they were larger last year.
