power of the pick 5 with a carryover
Emerald pick 5 Today. $5000 carryover. Parlay was worth 160.00 . 2/1, 8/5, 6/5, 4/5 and 1/1...... paid $518.00 for a deuce.... unbelievable. Without my $5 on winning pick 5 combo, it pays $570.00
If I only bet on wagers like this, I'd actually make a living doing this
Nevertheless, a great bet today over at EMD
And before anyone screams redboarding... I don't release picks at my favorite track 99% of the time. Why? The pools are so small, it would kill my price.

I assume Sunday is a must pay day, as I believe they move to Calder next week.

It's like playin cards with your neighbors only one doesn't play just tosses $50 into each pot. Positive expected value guaranteed.

I agree. She's gonna try her luck down at Turf Paradise this winter. Was hoping she'd come to PM but wish her the best in the valley of the sun

I totally understand why you don't release your picks due to the pool sizes at Emerald Downs. I generally never give out races at Fairmount Park for that same reason. I believe you. When you follow a small track religiously there is money to be made.

It's happened to me before...I give a pal my picks, pick 4 comes in & pays 1/2 , 1/4 or 1/5 less because he had it too. Not fair.
At NYRA, I'll yap my opinion alllllllll day. For emerald, keep it quiet.
