With the longshot in the second leg of the Late Pick4, the above two cashers came from the Early Pick4. Congratulations to buckton and Huggintherail for their good skill!
The most disappointed must be Light and Moneyandland, who both missed a big payoff in the Late Pick4 with the losing by inches in the very first leg.

NEW POLICY -- PLEASE READ
Effective immediately and after consultation with Jay Trotter, the need for rule #13 on "Self-Reporting" will be suspending while I am score keeping. While the responsibility for making sure your score is correct still resides with the contest player, it is much easier on me if you report any errors AFTER each week's results are posted. Please do feel free to continue the posting of comments related to successful hits to show your excitement.
Official Results thru and including 12/04/11:
See attached excel file.

Hi Ed,
You are correct. Sorry for missing this. Your correct amount will be reflected on either a revised standings sheet for 12/04/11, or after the next contest day of 12/10/11, pending resolution of a few other scoring matters.
Without going in to details, please know that I am changing my process so that it will hopefully not happen again.
Chris

Revised 12/04/11 Results
THIS THREAD IS FOR RESULTS ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY SELECTIONS IN THIS THREAD.
REMEMBER THERE IS NO NEED TO SELF-REPORT. Errors should be reported AFTER each week's results are posted. Enthusiasm for successful plays still welcome.
Official Results thru and including 12/04/11 (REVISED):
See attached excel file.
Subject revision includes a missed hit by ezmred (worth $450), as well as $450 credits each for BIG RED, Trijack, and oneg12 who had tickets which contained an EARLY scratch horse.
While our rules indicate that EARLY scratches do not get replacement of the post time favorite, the "spirit" of the rules is to mimic what goes on at the track, and according to the various different results charts, the late pick4 payout numbers were 5 / 4 / 3,9 / 8 where the #9 was the scratched horse.
(Thanks to all who provided input regarding this matter!)

It's tough giving up a second place spot at this point , but have to admit I only had $1.00 on the winning p4 . Then again if you insist , I won't tell LOL .

Hello nijinski,
It's another one of those cases (seems like it happens quite often?!) where a horse is listed as an EARLY scratch, yet the Aqueduct wagering pools must have allowed wagering on the scratched horse, at least for a brief period of time. The payout numbers on the DRF results charts are:
1 / 4 / 1,2,9 / 6
With the Post Time Favorite winning leg#3 of the early pick4, you received $1 payout credit for your 1 / 4 / 9 / 6 ticket AND an additional $1 payout credit for the 1 / 4 / 1 / 6 ticket where the #9 was substituted for the #1 in leg#3. (Re: Post Time Favorite substitution rule for late scratches.)
I guess a true "early" scratch is one that is in effect before the tote system is opened up for wagering, in which case subject horse is not even available for selection when building a ticket. Otherwise, the use of the term is just a matter of semantics.
Chris

See attached excel file.
Subject results include a missed payout of $275.50 for TBred17Roan from 12/10/11. With many strong favorites winning in the late Pick4, lots of different folks received payouts credits. Remember that Aqueduct's Superfecta payouts are based on $2, so when you have a $10 exacta, it means you get 5 times the listed payout.
Enjoy your week and hope to see you next time!

It looks like I was credited for a $4 bet when it should have only been a $2 payoff...you have me down for 96.40 when I should only have 48.2...as sad as that may be...
