Heard a rumor that Turf Paradise has been purchased and will reopen.
Is this true?

local news in Phoenix suggests same and friends who come down from Emerald are anticipating its opening but not until November

Turf Paradise is in the midst of being purchased right now by people whose plans are to keep it open as a racetrack. They have said they would like to run in January.

Dave: I do not have easy internet access right now but I think it was the online version of DRF this past week.

Drove by this AM about 8:00. NOT a car or truck around, turf course obviously has not been watered some time.

Horsemen can set up on December 16.
Horses can arrive on December 18.
Training starts December 26.
Opening day January 29.
Let's race!

Hi Dave,
I shall be there before. We are running weekdays so I will still be calling my steeplechase races in April and May and then on to California in June in what could be some very exciting times. Thanks for asking.
