It's so transparently obvious to me that she's doing this for political gain and perhaps for her 5 minutes of fame.
Will Grassley move the time goal posts again tomorrow to 10 P.M.? Oh wait...the senate shuts down on the weekends, right? Let's make it for 10 A.M. Monday. If he's going to bend over backwards so much, maybe this moonbat can get him to break his back in the process. Then the press can report of two terribly traumatized people.

Now that it is over, perseptions of Chairman Grassley in my mind was it was smooth as babyshit to not look like the linchmob going after That "poor traumatized woman". And let the Honorable Judge Kavanaugh do his heavy lifting. In a different thread, subject, and year I asked a regular here if JFK had the best possible outcome with the Cuban thing. Having the fellow poster agree with me that in fact the outcome was as good as could be had, I think that way sometimes. We can not sell some short when dealing with cockroaches, if the outcome is the best we shall soon see.

talk abput 11th hour
Mark Judge, the supposedly 3rd person in the room, just sent a letter to Feinstein and Grassley saying under pains of felony that Kavanaugh was not in the room with Katherine Blasi Ford.

Wasn't the other letter issued by his attorney?
Now he wasn't too blackout drunk?
If true I think it hurts Kavanaugh more than it helps.

Let's get this straight, folks.
Kavanaugh is not the accused in a criminal trial here.
He is a candidate in the process of being adjudicated for a prestigious, influential, LIFETIME public appointment.
If an accusation is made against a such a candidate, that candidate is not entitled to the presumption of innocence until they have been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, as they would if they were the accused in a criminal trial.
That's not how it works with the kind of prestigious, influential, public appointment Brett Kavanaugh is being considered for.
If there are some grounds to think the candidate has engaged in wrongful activity, the nomination should be withdrawn.
The standard for disqualifying such a candidate are simply NOT AS HIGH as the standards for finding the accused guilty in a criminal trial.
Further, the standards of conduct expected of a Supreme Court Justice are much higher than the standards of conduct expected of an ordinary citizen.
And remember, this is a prestigious, influential, LIFETIME Public appointment, that, once made, cannot be undone.
For these reasons, in the past, Kavanaugh's nomination would have been withdrawn long ago.
But not with the Republican Senate Majority of 2018.
These pigs have no SHAME.
None at all.
To add to it, they are trying to shame the Democrats.

all it has to do is get the undecided senators to vote him in and he is in the clear.
before today they had the line on him being confirmed only as a pick it, now they have him 8/5 favorite.
