The Mueller actions are all about deflection, because they have been searching and searching and searching for something to get Trump on and they can't find anything. They are so desperate because the bad news in the BIG UGLY is coming out soon. Their only hope is to garner some support in the arena of public opinion, because the system of law is not going to be kind to them.

And the levels of corruption are so deep and vast that news is probably going to be released bit by bit so that it can be digested adequately by the public at large. Lord knows they have little understanding to date given the mantra of the MSM.

It is not pompous to point out facts. Tariffs of this kind have been tried and failed in this country. I have repeatedly presented historic evidence of this and no one has presented objective evidence to the contrary.

From Wiki:

Quote:
On March 5, 2002, U.S. President George W. Bush placed tariffs on imported steel. The tariffs took effect March 20 and were lifted by Bush on December 4, 2003. Research shows that the tariffs adversely affected US GDP and employment.
Tariffs have been shown to be one of the causes of the Great Depression.

Trump went to Wharton in the late 1960's. Mainstream economics taught at the time was so-called Keynesian economics, which has since been discredited. Trump shows no evidence of having kept up with the changes.

Quote:
Maybe what you need to do is read less political opinion articles disguised as business opinion articles. One thing an economics degree teaches is that there are MANY ways to get to there from here. Just because Trump may be unorthodox in his methods and bombastic in his demeanor (your real problem with him), doesn't make him wrong.
What I read and have posted here are business and academic articles explaining why tariffs are harmful to the country imposing them. No one has posted similar articles to refute that.

The fact that Trump is a buffoon does not make him wrong, but it does make him open to mockery. That is quite distinct from his policies. Criticism of his policies by me and a very few others here is objective, based on facts and history.

Gee, and I thought Cohen or Sekulow were the most "objective".

Dershowitz might have been objective some years ago, but now he is just a FAUX hack. Probably why you think he is "objective".

Damn, even milhous took 20+ months after the investigations began to be forced to leave

And the investigating is just at the midpoint. 35% of the country will remain bamboozled no matter how many he shoots on fifth avenue, but that is not enough to stop his panic and bleeding.

Even the repugs. are getting fed up.
Even in the last CNN poll his popularity has increased 8% point.

On 538, a composite of many polls he is leveling off at 40.3. Start of term at 44%. Wow!!!!!!

Still the latest foot in mouth diseases have not reached all.
Don't look good and as I said the investigations are I think just at the mid point. Damn, Mueller just got his tax returns among other things like a..

I don't think you can prove or disprove any economic data using historic data, there are too many moving parts. Plus, everyone's definitions very so widely, it is all theory.

Its called "Politics" for a reason. Neither party wants this guy in there. His own people are throwing him under the bus. Yet, he blames the Democrats! If people think neither party manipulates the system they are just naïve. The two party system is so dirty we might as well be Communist or under a dictator.

The pay off of porn stars and hookers is red meat for his opponents, even in his own party. They know this crap does not play well with the base. All the so called "Church Folk" that blindly backed this clown. You just had to know stuff like this would come out. That's why these women were paid off. To shut up. The knives are out and the cannibalism has begun!

First of all, the warrant was not executed by Meuller.

second of all, they know exactly what they were looking for.

stuff on the Stormy Daniels settlement, which is not in the realm of Mueller investigation.

That the ACLU isn't up in arms over this raid, which they would be, as Dershowitz points out, had Hillary's lawyer been raided during the email investigation.
