It seems when the weapon of mass murder is a gun the criminal almost becomes next to anonymous in the main stream media. Especially if the gun is an AR-15 or similar.

Actually, he sounds a lot like Trump...no wonder CNN doesn't like him...

Here's the thing. The cops took cover but Teachers and Lunch Ladies will do better? That's gotta be the dumbest thing i ever heard. The schools need real guards (pros) POSTED at the entrances with metal detectors.....just like everywhere else. Some how court houses and airports don't have this problem. Don't be cheap cause its kids.......do more!

Court houses have criminals...and vigilante-types looking to do harm to these criminals...airports have terrorist concerns.
Schools usually don't have these types of people meandering through....
Most banks don't even have armed guards (that I can see anyway). Why do schools need this?
I'll ask again...how did we survive all these years without armed guards in schools...without locked doors on schools during school hours...how did we ever make it out alive?
What is really wrong with our society? It's not the guns, I'll tell you that.
Why do people refuse to want to examine the deeper issues involved here? They want to go for the easy fix...get rid of guns...post SWAT teams at every school...that's not going to solve anything long term.

I think we're just pretty much pathetic now. We could put men in outer space and finish the challenge of the canal in panama that others could not but we can't even be bothered to do anything more than argue over guns for the millionth time on this topic. Nobody even makes an effort to get along even just enough to try for common ground on anything. If you smile at Ivanka Trump at the Olympics you are destroyed professionally; if you have even a mild difference of opinion with an alleged conservative you tend to learn immediately that you are now a commie liberal.
I don't think we have a chance in hell of doing much of anything but watching more kids off more kids. And, the way that we grown-ass adults deal with one another on a daily basis just talking about this topic, who is really surprised that we have angry acting kids all over the place.
