I wanted to buy a house there. Couldn’t afford it at the time. It’s a great community, at least it was in 2002

The kid charged with the shooting turned 16 today.If he had did this yesterday,he could not, under California law, ever be tried as an adult and would have to be released at age 25 if he committed no further crimes..

Had a friend who lived there. He loved it, despite almost losing his home to fires twice in the last decade.
Eventually got scared away.

Sad day.
It is tiring to hear about the politicizing of these events.
Kids/people are dying. People are in shear panic and fear.
I don't care what race, gender, or sexual orientation the shooter is or is not. They are pure scum.
Reality is, we protect airports, stadiums, and workplaces much better than we do our own children while they are at school.

He didn’t buy the gun. If his parent/s, or whoever, failed to properly secure the weapon/s used then ABSOLUTELY they are complicit.
It’s about time that irresponsible gun owners are made to pay for their misconduct.
