Down to $50.00: Strategies?
Fortunately not my current situation, but I am a P4, P5, P6 player. It gets dicey when my account balance is restricting, and I almost never avoid new deposit. What recommendations for balance building, slow climb back out of hole?
The Show parley has never worked for me. Thinking maybe a numbers play like 3rd favorite to Win, Favorite in bottom of Super, grasping here. I lose my confidence when my balance dwindles. What do others do when trying to stay alive and avoid the dreaded D$? Even treading water?
Thoughts?

Start playing doubles and win bets only, instead of pick 4-5-6's. If you're still spiraling downward, then you simply need to take a break and reboot...

Stop playing and build up a better bankroll. A short bankroll is a doomed bankroll.

Extremely selective in the races you choose to bet and Win bets only.

I agree, but how do I build up a better backroll without laying out more cash?

I think that you need to change your mindset and instead of viewing yourself as a P4, P4 or XXX player to learn and think more about the game focusing in becoming a value bettor as opposed to a disparate lotto score seeker.
You must develop the confidence of singling your middle odds selection and resist to the temptation of spreading your bets using several horses in the same race while trying to secure a hit.
Also, as CJ already mentioned before, you must build a real bankroll before you start some serious betting. Operating out of a $50, $500 or even a few thousand dollars bankroll although it buy you some fun, is certainly not the way to go for a serious bettor who aspires to graduate from the recreation level to a more advanced approach to the game.

One of two possible outcomes:
1) play what you currently have and go broke -- but at least you'll have the experience of playing under pressure
2) fork up more cash and find yourself in the same situation in the very near future.
In either case, or any other case, for that matter, you'll need to fork over more cash.

1+ hr capping 4-5 days a week, sometimes extra hour on weekends...Usually stick to 1 track. I had one year nearly break even (last yr), I am very active but not winning more than losing. Hit one pick 6, 5 or 6 a couple times. Use Stable Alert as my key plays in P4,5,6 when I think I have an under the radar value play.

Today GP 3/11:
Early Pick 4, was alive to last leg. Went with connection play single in last leg Pletcher/Saez 9
P4: // // : //
This is typical bet b/t $18.00 and $42.00, more when on a roll...
Also played a P5 more narrowly with selective singles and coverage in last.
P5: // // // //
Nice start with the . but didn't like the in last who busted the P4.
Thx

So, you spent $60, how much more will you play today? Is your daily outlay between $150-200?
