TVG Not Airing Churchill Downs Races
TVG does not seem to be airing the Churchill races today, either on the TV channel, or on their streaming app. I can bet on the races through my TVG account, but can't watch them on TV.
Which leads me to two questions:
Does anyone know where I can get Churchill races on my TV, via a Streaming app? The deal with NYRA is similar -- you can bet on them with TVG, but TVG does not air them -- but I can watch the NYRA races on their Youtube channel. Is there anything like that for CD?

Which we here in Northern Kentucky with Spectrum don't get.
This whole summer has been screwed up with Fox (mostly FS2) which we dont't get) broadcasting Saratoga, and earlier Belmont and Churchill. One screwed up mess.

You can watch TVG2 through the streaming app. The streaming app is available on most (all) streaming platforms as far as I know. For instance, if you have Firetv, you would be set.

This was announced earlier in the year, back when NYRA and Churchill were running at the same time. The struck a partnership.

America's Day at the Races is showing all Churchill races.

Did it come down to more money from FOX than TVG or something more substantial ?

I'm not privy to that information, but I would guess it is certainly giving them more exposure being on FS1 and FS2. I doubt any racetrack is being paid to be on the air.

Correct.
After I posted, I found that there are two ways for me to watch the Churchill races:
- NYRA's America's Day at the Races. This is available on a host of platforms -- the most convenient for me is Youtube, which I can get on a phone, on a laptop, or on my Amazon streaming stick.
- TVG2, which my cable company doesn't carry (whose does?), but which I can watch through the TVG app on my streaming stick.
It shouldn't be this hard to watch the races -- it's a joke -- but at least I can watch them.
