Was trolling around the 'net, looking for handicapping items of interest...and ended up on a site in the UK. There was a list of the 10 best horse racing sites.

All but one was naturally a British site..with this surprising exception:

"Pace Advantage is a forum for US racing bettors. You will find almost nothing to do with betting systems and absolutely nothing to do with UK racing. So why is it on this list? Because it has some of the best minds in US horse racing and database handicapping participating on the forum and if you want to learn how to do this stuff then it is one of the best places to investigate. I have had excellent responses to many of my questions in the past."

What a nice write-up from our friends across the pond. 🎃

TY sir...I think you mentioned Indiana Grand was closing for the year in a few days. After simply ignoring this track for years--I ventured a few wagers, and actually came out well ahead.

Here's the Trainer Angles Report, with scratches done. Instead of circling my picks--I'll leave it for those interested, to make their own filters and selections:

Good luck,

Wow...pretty skimpy prices at Indiana today: for 10 races--win payoffs totaled about $44. You math experts have already figured 44 divided by 10 = $4.40 avg. Hard to show a profit when the winners are paying 4 bucks.

If you're keeping score at home...the Maiden 2nd starters are 1 for 7 with scratches this week. Even the spot play @ DM scratched today. AVENDORE ML 20-1 ran 2nd at Indy--that was my hi-lite of the day for Indy

Instead of a win bet--I'll go with a late double of:

7th EISWEN 4-1 & SUM RETURN 12-1
with
8th HENRY THE THIRD 8-1 & MILLENIUM CONDO 6-1

WAGERED $8.00

Now I know I'm getting old...Buster Posey retired today from the SF Giants. Gawd, seems like he was just a rookie maybe 5 years ago. It was actually 12 seasons he played in the majors. Giants had never won a world series, even with Mays, McCovey, Marichal and all 3 Alou brothers playing for the Giants at one time. They won 3 with Posey--the guy was just a baller.

Anyhoo...of the 2 plays circled on the GPX Trainer Angles, R KING KONG won paying $ $6.20.
1 of 3 exactas won paying $33, for $12 wagered.

The 2nd Time Starter longshots...1 scratched, so 5 started with PEARLY GHOST paying $24.60 at CTX. That makes 2 for 12--for a return of $37.00.

Was reading an article about what wins those 2yo BC races on day-1. The single top factor was not a big surprise: AVERAGE PURSE VALUE. Here's the top-2 "Qurin-style" AVP:

6TH KAUFYMAKER 12-1 AVERLY JANE 5/2
7TH ECHO ZULU 4/5 JUJU'S MAP 5/2
8TH KOALA PRINCESS 6-1 TURNERLOOSE 12-1
9TH JACK CHRISTOPHER 9/5 CORNICHE 5/2
10TH DAKOTA GOLD 8-1 TIZ THE BOMB 8-1

Good Luck,

ABILITY Rating from EXOTIC BETS!...you remember EXOTIC BETS? It's tag-line is "Like Stealing Money"
I happened to nail a huge exacta last year just using the Ability rating, so I'll run the top 3 for today's Del Mar card.
A dollar box of all 3 will set you back $60...I think if I play it that way, I stand a good chance at a profit.

We'll see....

Mannnnn....I couldn't get lucky at DM--my mix of longshots and lower priced horses didn't do much. Gotta get a couple big prices in there, to have a shot at some big money. Maybe tomorrow.
Wagered the $60 in exacta boxes I mentioned...returned $40.

Hell, if you had bet those top-2 APV horses, you returned $25 for 9 horses bet (one scratch).

As mediocre as my day was...I entered a 2-DAY BC exacta contest, and find myself somehow in 4th place...going into tomorrow's full BC card. Not going to change my selection method--I'm due for a big day.

Be nice if that day was Saturday.
