I'm not going to watch either. Two reasons. First, I am 83 years old and a different person than I was 35-40 years ago and feel that I (and others) should be judged on who I am now, not who I was way back when. And second what is considered "acceptable behavior" is a lot different now than it was back then...

It’s an opening statement. They are always written out ahead of time. Did you notice that Grassley read his statement and did not do as good a job.
