I am hoping for Michigan to win but when you give Little Nicky a month to prepare for a simple offense like Michigan's, (2011 Sugar Bowl against LSU) it usually means doom for the opponent. Also, I know Ohio State has speed on the outside but they haven't seen speed from big boys like they are going see on New Year's Day. Best way to beat Bama is keep Milroe in the pocket and not let him out, if you do force him to his left and take away the long pass, make him to throw 10 to 15 yards, that's where he has issues.

Perfect description of how to game plan milroe. Good deep ball passer but struggles currently in reading defenses.

Texas beat him by spying half the time. When it was 3rd and longer than 7 or so they just went after him. No spy, played zone and db's have their backs turned. Everything in front of them.

Longer than 3rd and 8 or shorter than 6 yds to go texas put Anthony Hill or Jaylon Ford as a spy. Worked ok

To add, in regards to milroe... a spy was used only when it was 5yds or shorter on 2nd, 3rd downs. Soft corners, man to man.

Alabama staff will adjust to texas (if they play again) but Michigan may be smart to lean on that game film. Their safeties are likely to be more help on deep throws than ours were.
