Tour de France 2018
Quietly, the Tour began today.
I believe it's wide open this year as Froome's super team Sky is not the powerhouse it once was. I don't think he wins it.
Nibali, Porte, Uran, Bardet and a few others have a solid shot.
Gonna be the summer of France y'all....they will win the World Cup and a Frenchman will win the Tour for the first time in about 30yrs...
Romain Bardet !!!!

I love the Tour and as much as the cycling I love just looking at the marvellous scenery that they cycle through. Only been to France a couple of times but they do tours where you can cycle some of the stages and I really want to do that one day. We have it on TV all day every day here and I get rather addicted. Just as the world cup is concluding and I'm getting my life back the tour comes along. These really are amazing athletes. I went out cycling a couple of weeks ago, I have an app on my phone called strava which measures your speed, distance etc. There was one section when I was going downhill and thought it a bit hairy, I checked the speed after and then realised that these pros were going faster uphill.
Best odds here at the moment
Froome 7/4
Porte 6/1
Lande 9/1
Nibali 10/1
Bardet 12/1
Thomas 12/1

Tour really begins today as far as the GC goes. Should be a fun one for viewers, not the riders.

Looks like I was wrong. Froome and Team Sky are as strong as ever, and they proved it the last two days in the Alps.
This tour is all but over...It will be Froome or Thomas

Thomas sure looked the stronger guy so far, but maybe Froome hasn't turned his motor on yet!

Does Froome go all out tomorrow, 7/25, or does he ride to support Thomas and the team?
