the one thing i have noticed in this maiden thread, the horses for the most part either win (occasionally) or they run 4th or worse. there were a few that had huge prices that ran second with big place payoffs, but not enough to put a dent into the money you would have lost playing place. one thing for sure, this method can produce big prices from out of nowhere, lately pretty cold though.

I knew I was a few dollars ahead going into the last day of March and I was tempted to pass, but greed overcame caution.
