The euphoria from the LEAVE camp reminds me of the Greek vote on austerity a year ago. Pleasing for the masses, but no real change. I can't help but think the Banksters will win in the end, regardless of the vote.

Another thing about the great Brexit election yesterday that's been basically ignored by the mainstream, liberal media:

Once again, Barack H. Obama demonstrated how stupid and out of touch he is when he went to Great Britain and told the UK citizenry that they should vote to STAY because that's what's good for them.

Once again, Barack H. Obama proved to the world what a total fool and laughingstock he is in the eyes of America and the rest of the world.

If he hated England, he would've been firmly in the "remain" camp.

I heard today that a poll in France stated that 70% of the French people would vote to exit. If France also leaves, have to think it would be only a matter of time before the Euro would be completely dead as a currency.

The proof will be in the eating of the pudding.

We'll have to evaluate the impact of this in 1 year, 5 years, and 10 years.
At this point, it's anybody's guess as to how all of this will turn out.

Obamaexit

The Brits got to vote to take their country back, yesterday. America has to wait until November.

I don't understand why globalism is so popular. I'm not that old..in my 30s.

People are too different to have everything be connected in a borderless society. It would never work.

There are two different issues: economic and social. The economic issue is just facing reality, because in the modern world putting up trade barriers hurts your own economy.

The social issue is driven by the trend toward progressivism with policies of equal outcomes, as opposed to equal opportunity. Some people believe that closed borders are a sign that we think ourselves to be better than others.

The French would have had a similar Brexit (Frexit? --LOL) if the great patriot Marine Le Pen was elected president last year.

She lost because France's center-right Party -- just like our compromised and corrupt Republican Party -- and France's totalitarian far left Party -- just like our own Democrat Party -- combined forces solely to defeat Marine. They put their own elitism and global and one-world capitalist cronies ahead of the will of the French citizens.

It's just a matter of time before Le Pen takes back France for its citizens; Trump takes back America, and the Italians, Greeks, Spanish, Portuguese, Swiss, Norwegians and Swedes take back their countries as well.

The complete and total dissolution of the European Union has begun.

Long live freedom! God bless America! Long live the Queen! Viva le France! I don't know the rallying cries for the others countries.

I think a big problem, which Europeans have finally realized, is assimilation, or lack thereof.

Americans have always thought of this country as the great melting pot. We have been slow to accept immigrants until they started to lose their old identity (Irish, Poles, Italians, etc.) and were assimilated into the common culture.

This has reached near crisis levels in the EU, as more and more Muslim refugees refuse to become part of the mainstream of their new country. This was a factor in Brexit, and will drive other EU countries to demand similar votes.

How soon before BREXIT is deemed a racist event? Or has it already been, and if so, how massive the din?

That would have made his take on the matter even better. Then again he would be older than a relic if he was still alive and maybe his hate would have lessened. Taking shots at the English government was his favorite pastime other than soccer.

It already has.

Quote:
Protesters are planning to march to London's Shard building to demonstrate against the 'racist' and anti-migrant rhetoric of the EU Referendum campaign.

The march, announced in a Facebook post by the Revolutionary Socialism in the 21st Century, was due travel from a park in Whitechapel to the headquarters of New Corporation next to the Shard at 6pm.

News Corporation is owned by Rupert Murdoch and publishes The Sun and Times newspapers.

The protest is being held "against racism, for migrant rights, against fascist violence – on the day after the EU referendum."

It said "the EU referendum has unleashed a torrent of racism. Migration has been attacked and scapegoated by both campaigns -- with Leave stoking up bigotry against immigrants and Remain responding by capitulating and echoing that bigotry.

And of course our own liberal media has already been beating the racist drum:
