I'm running a new Dell Inspiron Laptop, Windows 10, mostly Firefox as my browser. Lately, the cursor has taken to sticking on the screen and no amount of manipulation of the mouse (Dell mouse - old) gets it unstuck. I either have to reboot or unplug the mouse or sometimes Ctrl-Alt-Del to remedy it.

Is this a problem of the mouse, the browser, or something else? Any ideas?

Can you do other things? Or is the computer frozen?

Next time hit Ctrl-alt-delete and use the task manager to see if anything is running in the background

Also, if you have multiple apps open, hit “alt-tab” see if you can switch between apps
