Sorry for the down time...
You start messing with things...and I guess things happen...
That downtime was unforeseen....let's hope there aren't any others like that...

I'm usually not up that late but went to post a picture I found from long ago and saw there were issues. Anyway, to make up for the down time, here is a pretty damn funny picture. It is the winner's circle at Garden State Park. I'm 18, Larry Collmus is in there too at 19. The trainer is Jack Salter, father of Stan Salter of Maryland Horse Radio.

Close up I look like I was 12. I liked pushing the boundaries of the regulation Air Force haircut at the time.

Great to see that picture of Jack.
He was a real good guy.
I think he wore that light blue jacket every day he needed one for 10 years.
It was his trademark.
And just as great to see that old picture of Smitty, the guy running the horse.
He was a very kind person.
Oh man !
Those were the days.
Thanks CJ

I didn't know Smitty but I heard great things about him. Jack was the best. I heard from Larry the picture made Billy Fox's day when I put it on Twitter a few days ago. He was a staple at the Garden.

Maybe I was on leave, or used a lot of product for work
(36-2903 much later on, will always be 35-10 to me!)

It's back now...I turn it off when I'm working on the new version of the forum because I was doing some server-intensive stuff and I didn't want the main site to crash because of the server load...
Once the new site is up, we shouldn't have any of these problems anymore...and the new site will be up soon...hopefully by the end of the weekend...
