You do know we have had this very same conversation before. Neither of us can employ the rather limited search engine on this board to settle just how true your contention that this is simply a question of equivalency vs mine that the conservatives are way more prolific. So without demonstrable evidence, I am obligated to give my version of the Bush era PA off topic and how liberals here were more victims than perpetrators.

So if some one here dumps on Libs and ex lib posters as the ones to blame, IMHO a reminder of today's climate of non equivalency and way out of proportion Obama bashing is only fair.

Unfortunately Spiderman did not come up the idea for the "Religious" thread until 10/9/2011. It was one of the great improvements to this forum. I wished he had come up with it sooner. Just because he didn't come up with it until 2011 doesn't mean this great idea can't be adopt for frequent threads with the same bickering over the same topic. Great ideas are meant to be adapted and copied.

Oh oh oh... I was teasing... my point is that if the problem is just repetition and redundancy, that's almost a requirement here at PA Off-Topic. No matter how many different topics are started about totally unrelated things, about 40% of them will eventually morph into an argument over the same things if they last long enough.

While I am grateful for Spiderman that he set out to get the scripture out of every thread whether it made sense of not, the best thing he did was create the most amazingly long thread in history that is pretty interesting.

But holy crap, it is the same thing over and over for miles of pages.

I just don't understand why you or anyone would get bent over how many threads are started about similar things but have no problem posting the exact same thing over and over in the same thread. I don't understand why anyone would get bent over any of that whether you posted something over and over wherever or not. I read every thread and cruise past about 90% of it because I know it is another back-and-forth between the same parties that has been rehashed 100000 times or another debate over the ratio of non-self-described "cons" versus non-self-described "libs" or whatever.

Ignore that little girl with painted face. You are correct. Obama has stated that very thing. Remember he said he was going to fundamentally change the USA? And read Saul Alinsky - the road map is to build a new infrastructure inside the existing one, then tear down the existing one.
