Should not be a problem. I will just send Nathan an email with with the name of the person I sold it to so you can be the registered owner for any updates or upgrades.

Normally in other software I have sold I have to agree to take it off my computer and not use it any longer.

No it is not sold yet.

I was answering Ralphs question if I had permission to sell it.

At this point I do not but if anyone wants to buy it we can wait for the conformation email from Nathan at Equisim before anything changes hands.

Chris,

Generally speaking I don't have a problem with original license holders reselling their EquiSim license. While the clause about getting permission to resell does further prevent people from illegally selling the software, it is there more for the purchaser of the software than the reseller.

For example, I would want the person purchasing your license to understand that they would not receive a discount on upgrades to version 5.0. The purpose of the discount plan is to reward long term supporters of the program, not to foster an aftermarket for the software. Likewise, I don't want to answer questions on my time about using the software from the re-sale.

As far as removing the program from your possession, I have a utility that ensures the program has been removed that can be run if you sell it (though since I know you as a stand up guy I'm not concerned).

Best,
-N

I was curious why you are selling. I"ve heard only good things about the software.

Like I have said in other posts it is a great piece of software if you like to test your applications and do research on them.

Like I have also said in other posts I am a Lazy handicapper and I switched to All in One about 6 months ago. I find it to be an excellent piece of software that fits my needs better than Equisim does. I do not like using more than one program because most of the time they give you conflicting picks and you wind up just getting confused.

I am not using Equisim at this point because I can't afford AIO data and BRIS data so I am trying to sell it.
