Still wish they would give us the option to show the speed figure and first call position for each of the top three finishers within the results area of the PP lines, rather than lengths behind. The info already exists, it's not as though something new has to be invented/calculated and the toggle could be added within the Preferences box that contains the figures/times toggle options.

Not red boarding because I didn't bet the race, but today's free race at del mar paid well using the top 3.... 30-1 on top

After using DRF for most of the last 50 years, seeing TimeformUS was similar to the first time that I saw The Racing Times: These are people that take their craft very seriously. My major criticism is the lack of an inside/outside bias evaluation in the PPs. Is this the result of handicapping philosophy or simply something that will be incoroporated in the future?

CJ can you pass this on?????
One thing I would really like to see on the preview page..in keeping with
color coding...when a horse is scratched how about changing his name
to say yellow print to may it easier to read..my eyes really struggle with the white line thru white horses name...anybody else like to see this change?
Thanks

Stu - maybe they could just remove the name and enter "scr" next to the post position number

hmm????????
how would I do that if I click on it it won't let me enter or delete. If they can
put a white line over the name they could easily change the color....

I will pass this on. Scratches could probably be made clearer.

This is something that is very subjective. We do the speed/closer stuff mechanically. My suggestion has always been this...bias colors show that either speed or closers did better than should have been expected given the odds and the distance of the races. For me, it tells me I need to investigate further.
We could do the same with inside/outside when that information is provided by Equibase in the future, if that ever happens. Maybe it will be available from another source. But until then it is just something neither I or the team I'm a part of would be comfortable doing on our own subjectively.

I'll have to ask about that, don't think it is included in the PDFs.
