Race Card: Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (Group 1)
I’m in.
I found the “race card”, here is the link: https://www.racingpost.com/racecards...9-10-06/736533
If you can’t get to the race card via the link, type 3:05 Longchamp into your search engine . . . it should take you to:
3:05 Longchamp (FR) | Standard Racecard | 6 October 2019 ... Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (Group 1) (3yo+ No Geldings) (Turf), 6th October 2019. 3:05 at Longchamp (FR), standard racecard from Racing Post.
Once you get to the card, you can click on the name of the horse and it shows their past performances. OR you can click on the word “settings” located just below the tab “Pro Card” and select your preferences.
Good stuff . . . should be a good one .

Looks like Paris is 6 hours ahead of EST here, so the Arc should go off at 9:05 am EST on Sunday morning in the states.
I assume TVG will carry it, but wondering if anyone knows of any other place to watch the race live?
I don't get TVG, do get TVG2 and last year they showed the earlier Longchamp races till the Arc, then switched the broadcast to only TVG. Fox Sports 2 showed it last year so I was able to watch the race live, but I do not see it on their schedule this year.
Don't see it on Twinspires either, they did not carry it last year, and I don't see it on RTN's schedule either. Seeing that it will probably be Enable's last race, it would be nice to watch it live....
Went to the Breeders Cup last year and saw her great Turf victory.
Afleet, thanks for the video links. The Gosden one is really nice, especially when he talks about Dettori's bond with Enable.

this one is interesting:
http://www.france-galop.com/en/conte...n-enemy-enable
Sottsass is surely one of the most intriguing challengers in the mix for the 98th Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. He's only raced in France, six times altogether, and four this season. He was kept pretty much under the radar before his shock win in the French Derby, the Prix du Jockey-Club (Gr1), back in June at Chantilly.
But that day, Sottsass zipped home the way the greats do, beating a track record by almost a second, and the stakes best time by 2.7 seconds...

big race
Going to try to handicap this one.
I actually like the 9:00am Sunday post, will be up getting ready for a Steelers vs. Ravens rivalry party, which should last much of the afternoon.

Loved all the Handicapping Features @ Racing Post
The Gosden interview was something special . . . very different from what we get here in the states, he is a class above.
~
In my opinion and from what I could garner from the interview, I don’t think Enable is in “top order.” Nevertheless, she is gonna be tough to beat.
I like Magical. She didn’t do particularly well here last year, but she just won the Irish Champion Stakes, in her two prior races she ran second to Enable and only lost to her by ¾ in the BC Turf. O’Brien brings her in wired tight in top order and she gets a top jock switch to O’Brien’s son, Donnacha O’Brien. Current BOG @ 13/1 Forecast @ 14/1.
Magical to win the Arc
