ThistleDown 2013 Picks.

So at the moment if you are at other tracks you cannot bet TDN (Do not ask me about it!) but you can on Twin Spires and XpressBet.

So, I will use this thread to post my daily picks from my blog. It is free to use. Have fun! http://racecallercraig.blogspot.com/

Craig.

PoloUK:

Figures are on Equibase. We are however spending $1m on a refurb of our wagering area in time for the Ohio Derby!

Here are some highlights from Saturday's card including a win by a 2yo making their debut who may be one to look for and popular jockey Jane Magrell bringing home a runaway winner.

i have no idea how good the horses were that ran behind him

Thistle probably has the very best surface in North America to get 2 yo's ready to run on. its been that way for about 40 years that i can remember. there have been lots of horses go there just to work and run somewhere else.

It is a great surface but running very fast indeed!

Todays picks are up on the blog. Highlight is the Cleveland Gold Cup, $75k over 1 mile and one eighth for Ohio breds!

Due to inclement weather, ThistleDown has canceled the Wednesday card after three races.

Since I can't bet it, it seems to me that ThistleDown has canceled their entire meet.

Craig,

I realize this isn't your doing (and that the Ohio horsemen led by Bob Reeves appear to be the offending party here.)

But the bottom line is this: The TDN signal is being distributed in a very limited way.

Speaking strictly for myself: Until or unless that changes, I'll pass.

Jeff:

I understand what you are saying.

That said to to those who want to give it a whirl, I am offering something for nothing for those who want to check it out. Just today, I gave the winner in Race 1 and a $14.60 winner in Race 2 from the 3 races that were run.

Craig.
