A lot of "official public health" offices, since the PCR thingy is being done around the world.

Seriously? Where have you been the last 13 months or so? PCR is alleged to be a scientific test for covid, and is being used all around the globe.

What do eyewitness accounts have to do with PCR tests?

Well, unless bats are analyzing the results, then I'd say nothing. But if not blind bats, then I would presume that the testing is done with people who have eyeballs in their head and are reading the results.

Small digression. I once told someone that I was a physicist. He thought that meant I was an M.D. End of digression.

You mean you're not following the science of PCR testing? You know of no one who has been tested? Family members? Friends? Acquaintances? If not, how often do you get out?

Eyewitness testimony has nothing to do with reporting test results. Eyewitness testimony generally applies to events. An eyewitness may report that "Jones did it." (An event.) If an expert testifies that "Smith's fingerprints were on the gun" (A test.) then that is expert testimony, not eyewitness testimony.
The reason eyewitness testimony is considered the least reliable evidence is because it is generally not testable or, as modern scientists would put it, not falsifiable.
