Just in the last few years, we also put our two kids through college. I knew it was going to be expensive when I found out the parking pass in the student lot was $90 quarterly.
My wife and I had a deal...I would pay the entire monthly mortgage. Here in the Silicon Valley it ain't cheap. The wife's main financial obligation was to pay any and all the kid's schooling expenses.
Funny thing about that deal...those kids graduated a couple years ago--but I'm still paying the entire mortgage. Yet the wife pleads poverty any time I hit her up for $$$.

all we can do is exercise routine, sleep, diet, sunshine, Moderation, some vit/min like zinc and boron, meditation, t-shot if applicable, little blue pill, and fertility dr if necessary...
if all that fails, I'll resort to reversing the vasectomy 
 easy peasy
