However you feel about the ban, this decision is no ban. Remember whenever the numerous occasions when NYRA "banned" Dutrow for his many violations, he simply continued to run the operation from his living room via cell phone calls to his assistant. I believe they later changed their policy for any ban to apply to staff and family members.

Yes, your friend probably looked at the entries for Belmont on Brisnet (or elsewhere) for tomorrow, plus the stakes races on Saturday.
All JH's horses were already listed under his assistant trainer's name on Equibase.

This industry looks worse and worse every day.

6.8 average field size at Belmont this summer season.
I looked at the entries to bet on the 4th, something I always do, and with the fields decided to just listen to music instead.
Saratoga provides a lot of window dressing.

He posted that on June 30th. Were entries even out then? Pretty pointless post.

Paulick reported that his horses would run under Chatlos on the 22nd.
Bloodhorse put out those details on the 29th (Rowayton and Brill running under Chatlo's name.)
It wasn't a secret inside information or anything, that was more my (according to you, pointless) point.

nope, nothing to add. Seems like this was, as you posted, pretty much SOP in situations like this.
Hope Mr. Hollendorfer's horses do well in their stakes races. I would definitely give them an uptick for "trainer intention" at this point. I'm sure it would mean a lot to someone in his position to win or run ITM.
I never followed CA racing much due to short fields, so I don't know a lot about Mr. Hollendorfer but I do read the CHRB Minutes pretty regularly to see the infractions, suspensions, etc.
Since we are left in the dark and the track officials won't even "say what it is" or reason for his ban, it leaves people scratching their heads.

I get it. I just didn't think it was a big deal and worthy of the "call out". Not everyone reads all those sights like degenerates like myself do.

Chaltlos-Hollendorfer
in the event the Chatlos horses continue to run well at Belmont and the Spa,
and presuming none test positive, where does NYRA and Stronach
stand in the event Hollendorfer is proven innocent in Court?

Good Lord almighty. Are you that daft?
For those who STILL don’t get it, let’s repeat this for the thousandth time:
SIX DEAD HORSES in SIX MONTHS on THREE DIFFERENT SURFACES.
And Kochees just had his claim voided when Hollendorfer raced him on May 25 and was dead on the track in June.
Then let’s add the broken down and retired Gunmetal Gray and Instagrand and missing since April Galilean.
Just WHAT part of the Hollendorfer horse carnage do you fail to grasp?
