Looks like only race 9, the Skidmore Stakes, will be on the turf today, Friday, August 17.

Calling for heavy T-storms tonight and spotty showers tomorrow. Which probably means the same thing for Saturday — only race 8, the G2 Lake Placid, will be the only 1 of 5 scheduled for the turf, unless the trainers threaten to scratch en masse.

This really sucks.

Don't worry, If worst comes to worst; God will spare Noah, and they will run match-races with a pair of horses and a pair of Ortiz brothers in every race

The biggest story of the meet has been the weather. It has made small fields even smaller.

So why would anyone be betting serious mohney in to a P6 when they leave some turf races on until after betting has started?

Just like the 2011 increase in takeout was 'temporary' not permanent, right Ritvo?

Another washout at Toga today - all but one off the turf.

I wish they would stop putting these major contest races in turf races at Saratoga, ruins it. when they get a good spell of weather add them back but every weekend 3-4 races they pick are on turf, stupid

I'm playing the dirt races; surface doesn't look too bad, suns out. I'm tired of boycotting.

What's the point of having 2 turf courses if your never going to use them. Why can't you run on soft or yielding turf?

Best time to play C C Brown is in Allowance Optional Claiming races when his Morning Line is less than 3-1

He seems to do well coming off a loss sometimes 1 or 2 losses in a row in this situation by his horses many times results in a win!!!

Let's watch his horses in this situation at Saratoga!!!

#9 Admission Office came through for the win for Brown paying $8.70 across the board!!!

Congratulations to those who saw the play and were able to make a profit!!!

Let's watch him off of a loss in this situation for the rest of the Saratoga season!!!

Because the courses are badly chewed up.

Surely you realize the last thing we want to do is take races off the turf....right?

Morning Line Favorites less than 3-1 took a severe beat down today as there were only 2 win prices less than $8 today

Let's see if the MLFs less than 3-1 can rebound from today's debacle on Wednesday!!!

I didn't bother to create an MLF index for Saratoga as the meet is over as soon as it starts!!!
