Vague is certainly the right word..
I bought his book thinking there might be some usable statistical data but it's just a tout for his system. Claims to be a mathematician but is using sample sizes in the 200-300 range when analyzing factors. Way to small for ROIs
His factor analysis results are for an un-named large oval track in the summertime and a half miler in the winter.
I got a chuckle out of his explanation for post bias on the 5 and 6 holes. He says they are racing downhill at the start due to the crown of the track surface and don't have to spend as much energy getting the lead. On half mile tracks the centrifugal force in the turn negates the energy saving.
