$1 win wagers
I need to some testing of my methods. I have found out in the past that the testing goes a lot better if I make a small wager. I was wondering if there is anyplace besides NYRA that has $1 minimum wagers.

Good plan, Bobby.
Sartin used to say that if you didn't put something on the bet, you never made it. Too easy to doctor your results unless you have a receipt for reality.

I think Pimlico had a $1 bet. I bet AP, I think it was the Preakness. Could have been the Belmont. That isn't a bet that left a lasting impression.

Stronach tracks generally are $1
you should be able to easily tell minimum bet on your wagering platform wherever you bet.

As far as Australia is concerned I would imagine most of our corporate bookmakers accept $0.50 bets. Ladbrokes and Sportsbet do. They have betting on USA racing if you need it but I am not sure if they accept bets from the USA. I could.n't see why not but I just don't know. Check their sites with .com.au on the end
I, too, believe you must bet to prove or disapprove a theory hence is why I start some plans with $0.50 bets. Amazingly I still grumble when I get beaten for an amount that buys 12.5% of a coffee here in Oz.

I have already ran across one unexpected problem which was not readily apparent from the research I used to develop the method. The method involves betting some favorites. By actually making bets, I have discovered sometimes(actually fairly often) that you do not know for sure which horse is going to be the favorite until very late in the betting or after the gates open. Other than that the trial is going as expected with the kind of results my research indicated would occur. But it is still very early.
Thanks to people who were kind enough too help me. Like most of the posters here, you are too kind.
