Home Depot comes out with a beat on earnings and the stock plummets 8%.
It's starting to feel like people are heading for the exits

The volume indicators I watch on futures came very close to saying you should get out of any shorts...but it didn't quite get there and I'm going to wait a little longer before I make the official call...
If I had the balls, I'd still be short from 4478 which was 154 points ago (or $7,700 profit per contract)

these markets need to get a big rebound in the next 2 days and hold the gains. otherwise, it will be in for another huge leg downtown.

this market is going sideways right now, not good for longs. next week might be the eve of destruction.

i was thinking that the markets were going to drop 40% off the top or more, or much much more by the end of March.. so far its down over 10% off the top. i am staying short for now and not fooling around trading it back and forth. i am short individual stocks, not indes.

The time to get out was last month after the Santa Clause rally ended.
We hit the 10% number so I'm buying back shit in smallish quantities the last two days

this turned out to be the greatest post for me in the history of PA. i wound up shorting LOWES today after they reported great earnings that everyone loved. the stock gapped up $8 and then proceeded to go south from there and i suspect a lot more south in the cards for this baby.

Anything with a big run in the green right now seems to be short lived.
Retailers and home improvement joints got ridiculous support during COVID. I think they have a bit of ugly unwinding todo for sure.
