Let’s be honest here. You’re upset because Biden is going to nominate a highly qualified black woman to the Court. And he is going to do it without playing silly political games and pretending to vet people he has no intention of ever nominating.

The funny thing is, had Biden announced that he hoped to nominate a Black woman, but would look at all qualified candidates, the response from the right would have been that he was looking to break his promise.


They were talking about the Jaime Harrison thing on MSNBC-the one with the real news.

My take is both sides could do better. The White House needs to include Harrison in decision making on party matters. Harrison needs to get out and do his job. If concerns about COVID-19 make that impossible, he needs to resign.

No the funny thing is he could have never backed himself into a corner by promising a black woman to begin with. (i.e. quit trying to sway votes)


Then he could have vetted all genders and races and ultimately picked a black female and noone would think twice about it.



But as is the case with most of what the democrats are doing these days they failed pretty spectacularly. It doesn't help the situation that his VP is such a disaster. Most Americans are already seeing how identity politics works out.
