Thanks Jay, I appreciate the time and effort you put into that and I'm kind of honored that you chose to re-cap my selections.

However that was not correct. If I was checking another posters results I would not assume to know what they did or didn't actually play but would use a more generic/general approach. Because I didn't see their figs so I wouldn't know how deep each wager if any would go!

If I were to re-cap those same 9 races, I would say:

This guy had 3 winners on top and 8 of 9 finished ITM.
6 exactas boxed
4 trifectas boxed
2 supers boxed

Yes, my 4-1 rule applies to me. But not necessarily to all board readers!

JMO, thanks

Wow! You must have had a really great day at Belmont!!!! So, you mentioned previously you would show your figs for a particular card. Please do for the Belmont card if you would be so kind.

No Jay, I said for a race or 2. Not an entire card. Way too much typing for my old ass.

Pick 2 races and I'll do them!

Isn't this sort of the point of the talks for the last week or so? Without any kind of explanation everyone does just have to assume.

But wouldn't that thinking lead people to assume that you box all plays in exacta's, triples and supers? That's not exactly the type of plays that people (talking about newbies) should be jumping head first into.

After it's all said and done based on $1 bets (only on exotics) boxing your picks.
Race 1) you hit the ex, tri, super -$7.15
Race 2) Miss -$12.00
Race 3) ex -$4.00
Race 4) ex, tri, super (nice job) +$161.80
Race 5) ex, tri +$27.90
Race 6) Miss -$60.00
Race 7) ex,tri -$12.60
Race 8) Miss -$60.00
Race 9) ex -$49.80

all that equates to -$15.85 (assuming all my math is right) on a day where you gave out
6 exactas boxed
4 trifectas boxed
2 supers boxed

IMO that's why giving out 3/4 horses each race without any sort of structure really amounts to nothing.

OR one could assume that the first pick is the choice!

OR one could post their picks and leave others alone, just a thought???

If you can't make a profit of 4-1 then I pass. Just stating the results is all.

I never tell you what to bet!
