If such a service ever got 1,000 subscribers, I sure hope PA gets a piece of that action.

But even so, unless we're talking about a race at Yavapai where a "bridgejumper" means one horse has $5,000 on him instead of $50, the $2.10 payout isn't going to be moved.

I would think when 90-95% of the show pool total is wagered on one entry.

according to richard perloff, tvg analiysiss specialist, betting against bridegjumping is the most profitable bet in all of horse racing. he bets against the bridgejump every single time and claims to win. his bridgejumping show air's every monday and tuesday at tvg. he will let you know ahead of time when its time to jump in the water.

Did he indicate how many opportunities he is presented with each yr? In the past, it seems like the opportunities have been few and far between. But recently at some of the smaller tracks, it appears like the opportunities are almost nightly. Do you have any thoughts on why that is? Or are my past memories just incorrect?

that is a great question. i would say that people are fed up with the past post betting, so if they bridgejump they precisely what the payoff is going to be even if the horse they play gets past posted or not.

recently i have seen alot of mistakes in the bridgejump horse bets. there are alot that would never qualify in my mind, yet you see lots of money on them. some. some horses are all or nothing yet take alot of show dough.

Well Almost every Monday and Tuesday there are multiple B Jumpers---I swear one guy does it in spite of Perloff. I can not tell you how many times I caught A Jumper at the End of Perloff's shift--

I also catch em--When They come on the load--Unless you have a great system a split screen that track dailed up--You'd never get it-But its a good propasition---Anyone who really does want to start this and they need a set of eyes---Please get in touch with me..

Missed one today. Wow.

5/25/09 FL Race 8

1-5 finishes out of the money. Strangest betting race I've ever seen.

5 horse field.

Show prices: 11.60, 19.40, 18.60

Bridgejumper gets burned.

Exacta only pays 18.70
Tri only pays 47.25

3-1
15-1
6-1

I know it is only a five horse field, but give me a break. With the 1-5 finishing out of the money it should have paid a lot more. Someone may say the 1-5 was not accurate odds as someone may have poured money in the win and show pools, but the horse did look to be at least 1-2 on paper. Looks fishy to me.

I've been tinkering around in visual basic and I am 100% confident I can do this as a program. the only snag I have is I need to find a live feed for odds. If I can do that I can create a program that automatically checks.

Why check the odds? It's the show pools you want to have the program check, right?

I don't need the odds from the odds feed, I need the pools from the feed. it all comes from the same feed.
