I remember working in a gas station in Austin in '68, while going to college, making $1 an hour. A guy came through that had been doing the same job in California but making $4 per hour. It's probably even worse nowadays.

And NJ too. The only low costs we basically have here are gas prices. Everything else here is thru the roof.
