Former President Donald Trump is due to join a sea of blue for the wake of slain NYPD cop Jonathan Diller on Long Island Thursday, officials confirmed.

“President Trump is moved by the invitation to join NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller’s family and colleagues as they deal with his senseless and tragic death,” Karoline Leavitt, the former commander-in-chief’s campaign spokesperson, said in a statement on Wednesday.

Diller, a 31-year-old married dad, was on patrol in Far Rockaway on Monday when he was shot and mortally wounded by a ruthless ex-con and his career criminal pal, according to police.

It appears one of the perps was brown, the other black. Pretty obvious they weren't white as their pictures weren't splattered all over the place and this is far from a lead story in most places. It is obvious even giving some people 6 months for illegal firearm possession when they got no time served often would prevent crimes. It is baffling how lefty DA's constantly let people walk who are caught with guns they legally should not have. The quickest easiest way to curtail "gun violence" is to lock people up for more than the minimum when they commit gun crimes. Of course lefties cry about having too many brown and black people in jail, it appears we need to put more of them in jail until they learn how to behave in a civilized society. Stop coddling them, and especially stop the flood of drugs among other things happening at the southern border. You have an open border with a country with 4-5x our homicide rate, of course none of the bad people come here, right lefties?
