History made in Grand National as Rachael Blackmore wins
History was made in today's Grand National, the most famous and most watched horse race in the world, as Rachael Blackmore became the first female jockey to win. She rode Minella Times to win at 11/1 for trainer Henry de Bromhead. This has topped off a fantastic season for her as just three weeks ago she was top jockey at the Cheltenham Festival.
She is not just the best female jockey over jumps but, in my opinion, the best jockey.
