Ravens/Browns, 12/14

What a game! Probably the best game of the year for action and story lines, not to mention the incredible bad beat if you had the Browns +3-1/2.

The impossibly crazy last second safety changed a lot of fortunes.

The line I saw opened at Browns +2 and closed at Browns +1. I never saw it get outside of that tight range. Was there actually somewhere you could get Browns +3 1/2? I know it makes a great story, but is this 3 1/2 just some more fake news to create a story? I saw a story on Yahoo sports with this same story line but don't recognize the columnist as a serious sportswriter. I liked the Ravens from the time it opened but I never would have layed 3 1/2.

I read that column and just thought to myself, this is the way media works today. But then again, I may have missed that particular line somewhere.

Pretty sure I saw the line at +3, so maybe some guys bargained for +3-1/2, but what do I know - I'm just a horseplayer!

The line that I patronize gravitated to +3.5...and stayed there until Sunday night. I had no betting interest in the game, and didn't follow the line movement after that.
