VINTAGE MATTERS bumped off stride after the start by INHERITTHEWIND due to pressure from CASIGORDO, settled three wide near the rear, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, angled six wide into upper stretch, closed well to secure the show honors while never threatening the winner.

IM THE CAPTAIN NOW sat within striking distance in the three path on both turns, was given its cue for the drive home, flattened out late and had to settle for the last major checi. STRONG SIDE slid over to the pocket heading for the clubhouse turn, kept watch on the pace from there until the head of the stretch, was set down commencing the drive now two wide, lacked a solid late offering.

So I guess 11 horses are going to compete in today's 5th at Belmont?

I won't be dealing with any late changes if I bet the pick 5 for this leg?

Timeline has potential to be a Belmont/Jim Dandy/Travers/Classic/Pegasus/Dubai type

workmanlike performance here, but the 3 could be pretty good, and the track may not have flattered him.
Exciting horse

5th race process of elimination

may be a wide open race

Tossing because they stink
Tossing because he's a huge underlay, and if Gary Barber had a talented dirt runner, he wouldn't be for sale for $40k.

The question becomes what to do with the entry. Players are going to gravitate to the entry in this race, and you have the rudy1 with the pretty off-the-turf form.
I think you either like the 1entry(in which case, you pass the race), or you use the others in a multi race.
The latter for me, as the 1 love n care has had footwork issues, and that's enough of a negative for me in this specific race.
for me , betting the 13 twice

$$ Good Call.

race 7 kind of came up differently for me.

I was against the 2 8, but speed could end up being better in this race.

10 has really become a 'wise guy' horse. 1 has a chance to surf a good wave home, but that's about all I've seen him do.

Going to see if I can find a youtube of the Man O' War shipper. Leaning toward pass here and rooting for the 9,10 to round out the pk3
