The Giants are advertising "Peanut Allergy Friendly" games. What's next? Not even keeping score?

This is actually something that has been happening for a while and is a very good thing clubs have been doing. This is an article about the work in this area by former Tampa Bay player Rocco Baldeli. His younger brother had been unable to see him play a major league game live due to such an allergy until the Rays did a promotion like this.

I know that there are parents out there who need to have their child be special, even if it means claiming they have allergies, but these sorts of allergies are quite real and can kill.
