Life is Good - out

Per Horse Racing Nation:

https://www.horseracingnation.com/ne...erby_trail_123

Although per article, Elliot Walden of Winstar says a few months. Bob Baffert not willing to say officially out yet.

Designing Goggles that will block out the infield video board.

sarcasm aside, I guess I'd vote for him to be retired to stud.

It's not realistic to think they'll hold off on stud deals and give him a year off to recover.

Maybe Life is Good is a very different situation, but Magnum Moon seemed very similiar, and Magnum Moon was 'trainer-speaked' into the Derby after behaving very similarly in his action and drifting. Couldn't turn down the points and ticket to the Derby. Then in his next workout suffered an eventual fatal injury.

Love to see Life is Good run.

He won the derby and HOY last year with his “B” (maybe “C”) horse. Why not again this year?

Wouldn't surprise. Baffert gets really good stock, he knows more about training than everyone else, and his staff works harder. Plus, Jimmmmy Barnes has his swagger back.

I'm rooting for Concert Tour. The Wests were shocked and disapointed when Jason Servis was found to have been cheating. Have to root for them.

However, Brad Cox is another genius, and he's got to be tired of hearing about the Baffert 'brilliancies', so you know he's studying day and night and gleaning insights from some of the great older trainers.
