The Queen Anne is being billed as a Solow vs Able Friend match race that I think there is plenty of value on the others.

If Able Friend can handle the hill to the finish, they're all racing for second. He's already shown whether the pace is fast (as it was in the HK Mile) or slow (as it was in the Champions Mile) he can canter past the field while not being asked and come home under 22 seconds.

From what I've have heard from Darren Flindell (ex-HK race caller) he ranks Able Friend right up there with Silent Witness in terms of special horses. Race may very well be for 2nd.

Those two look a class above the rest here.
Should run 1-2 at short odds.

Queen Anne
Seems strange to have the most interesting race of the meet
going first on Day 1, but that's how it is for me.
Solow is going to take some beating - too short to bet, though.

3 plays. Just put $50 win on Able Friend at a crazy 2-1
Race 2: 14/5+8 and 8+14 exacta box
Race 4: Straight exacta 6-4 but may cancel if price too low.

I think 2-1 is an underlay on a runner who's going over an undulating course with no turns...trying to beat Able Friend

What do the bookies over there know about Able Friend?
He's close to 3-1 with everyone.
