True, but when a ball gets stuck in a tree in California you may have a litany of enviro-laws to consider before just whacking away at it (the ball or the tree).

There are some courses I have played where areas are marked as sensitive. You are not allowed under any circumstances to enter let alone play out of them. The local rule is to play according to rule 36 and you are reminded of these areas on the back of the score card. Oceanside Muni and Woods Valley (both San Diego county) are two that come immediately to mind.

Paul Azinger has checked in on Tiger's behavior last weekend. In part he said:
“Tiger’s antics this week were an embarrassment to the game, to the membership at Augusta,” Azinger said. “I was really disappointed to see him carry on that way. He’s not trying to endear himself to anybody.
