The Official Biden Collapsing Thread

He's already reneged on his promise to wipe out student loans. Importantly, Biden has said he thinks Congress, not the president, is the appropriate branch of government that has authority to cancel student loans.

Even The Senate’s top Democrat and incoming Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is calling on Biden to forgive $50,000 per borrower on the first day of his presidency. “All you need is the flick of a pen,” Schumer said in December. “You don’t need Congress.”

Damned if he does...and damned if he doesn't.

You guys just can't wait for him to wipe out the student loans, so you can then come here and crucify him for pandering to the "freeloaders". Come on guys...have a little patience. Senile Joe will give you plenty of reasons to criticize him for, in due time.

I'm willing to at least give the man a chance, although his chances are about one in a million. He not only has to deal with concerns over public distrust in government, but the power struggle within his own party to reap the most off the power-grab.
The country's a huge social mess, all created by the left to achieve power. Now that you got it, its your duty to clean up the mess you left behind.
Blame Trump(ers), but the people that matter know the truth.

That's been done ad nauseam in other threads.

I wonder how many of the sheep voted for the most popular president in our history based on the promise of wiping out their debt.

Somewhere in a small Arkansas town as a young child sleeps, her deadbeat cocaine-addled dad and stripper mom welcome her grandfather to the Presidency of the United States, such is the life of the new democrat elites.

Considering Joe Biden's mishandling of Covid 19, how can he not be impeached already?

Congress is the branch of government that has the "power of the purse strings." All appropriations, revenue and spending must originate in Congress. The president only has approval or veto power. I don't think, under the Constitution, Biden has the authority or power to cancel any debts, including student loans, by executive order.

If you disagree cite the appropriate part(s) of the Constitution or the relevant Supreme Court cases.

By executive order he will continue to cancel the student loan interest payments that the Trump administration, by executive order, did twice. i would think if you could cancel interest you could do the same with principal.

Now I don't know if any of this is constitutional, but during his campaign he said wiping out student loan debt in some form would be a done deal. A month after his election he said it wasn't. Typical political double speak. And a trained lawyer pleading initial ignorance and then having a constitutional epiphany is disingenuous at best.

Fake POTUS Biden

Since the inauguration, Biden hasn't done ANY of the following:

Board Air Force 1

Fly on Marine 1

Ride in POTUS Limo

Review the Troops

Meet any World Leader

Appear outside the WH grounds

Saluted by any Military

Hold on outdoor Press Conference

Make any appearance outside of DC

Go ahead and prove me wrong.....He's a FAKE, it's all a movie that's about to end.
