I've brought this up before. Where are they going to get all of the new electricity they are going to need to charge all of these electric cars? Solar doesn't work at night & winds are usually calm at night, when most people will be charging their cars. I read a report that said last month 28% of the energy in the U.S. was from renewables. This does not bode well for electricity production stability. Say what you will about the TVA, but they know how to keep the lights on.

Glad I don't live in Texas.

Biden puts an end to fossil fuels. How many oil, coal, and natural gas power plants go offline. Add 200 million electric vehicles charging from a dwindled grid that can barely handle current electric demands... any moron with the exception of AOC, Sanders, Biden and the green new dealers can see green will not be anywhere near sufficient.

Imagine going on vacation with an automobile that has a range of 200 miles requiring a 5 hour fill up at a grid station that has long lines and maybe blacked out because the demand is too great.

Why aren't *hybrid* cars being suggested? Gas consumption is cut in half, mileage per gallon is more than doubled, in most cases, and the battery is recharged while driving. Expecting people to go cold-turkey off of gas usage is pretty stupid.

Proving once again that liberals' thought processes run shorter than their noses. They are never ahead of the curve; they're perpetually behind it.

The biggest green energy disaster is going to be a while out, but it will happen and will be ugly. California is forcing out the use of natural gas and
small internal combustion engines. What the out of touch with reality politicians and greenies fail to realize, is the amount of electricity needed to replace natural gas will be huge. Heating with electricity is very inefficient.

An all electric home in an average USA climate will consume 3 times one that has natural gas, of course you won't hear that come from anyone against that dirty natural gas.

Of renewables solar produces 2.8% of consumed electricity and wind 9.2%.
The problem with those two types of electricity is they produce little power compared to the space they take up.

During covid when workers lost their jobs, Elizabeth Warren suggested they get jobs building solar panels.

If they couldn't make problems, what would they get campaign donations for?
