My only concern is that the selling didn't intensify after 3pm like I thought it would.

This does not look like a healthy daily chart to me (attached).
Two big red volume days in a row...two big red bars in a row.
They closed firmly below the 200 day moving average today (FROM ABOVE), with absolutely little in the way of resistance.
When was the last time that happened? Why, on a FRIDAY...January 21.
What happened the following Monday?
The S&P plunged 177 points before rallying furiously to close green on January 24.
Will be watching this very closely on Sunday evening / Monday, hoping for a repeat without the comeback.

Despite the lies and months-long disinformation campaign about "tapering" and the raising of interest rates by Jerome Powell for the Federal Reserve, the Fed still continues to provide liquidity by buying up bonds sold by the Wall Street gang as we speak.
Despite high inflation and the country's $30 trillion in debt Powell and the government are playing this most dangerous game solely to protect the the one-percenters on Wall Street and in corporate America.
This could be one cause, in part, for the market's current state of confusion. This won't last much longer. Some day, and maybe sooner than we would like, the memo will go out and millions of every day, middle-class citizens will then lose their life savings either because of a major stock market crash, or through outrageous inflation or by collapsing home prices.

S&P futures just opened up...about 10pts down from Friday's close...so holding over the weekend was the right call...should be an interesting next 22 hours or so...

right now it looks like we have inflation and energy prices rising. but just because it looks that way doesn't mean that i am right on this. i could make a very likely case that energy costs are about to plummet and we are heading to deflation. my guess is that worldwide bankers would much rather see inflation.
there are things going on now across this country where cities are going to de carbonite. its going on now in Ithaca, New York and is being proposed for other places. there is always a financial hidden agenda to everything that happens around here. if this takes place there will be a lot of people that will lose their homes for not being able to afford the changes needed to comply with these new rules. i could go into this further, with plenty of repercussions to follow. as a result of stuff like this. we all have trouble trying to figure out what could happen in the future if certain things are put in place today.

this headline is probably the best reason to buy this stock right now! you really couldn't ask for anything better.

here is a mining project to look at
i am familiar with the Brewery Creek mine for many years. this stock sells for less than five cents and if gold moves higher has a good chance for the project to move forward. its a good gamble in my opinion for a risk reward basis. i have no idea how much more dilution will take place. its a lottery ticket that doesn't expire with one draw.

I fully expect a bounce at some point that will make me nervous to continue holding short...the market rarely ever gives it up easily.
This is why my original stop (which is still in play) is so wide.
If I don't see a substantial bounce at some point today, then the big drop might be even harder and faster than I even imagined.

Futures market is acting odd...volume-wise...seems like there is too much action for a Sunday (past 8 hours)...relatively speaking...
But price has gone pretty much nowhere...which means something is brewing.
Wonder what I am going to wake up to?
As usual, seems it could go either way at this point...and remember, I am expecting some sort of a bounce soon.
Price is at 4408....still +70pts on the trade (that's $50 per point, per contract)
