We are slowly learning. We've seen the Democrats plea the 5th for so long... that they no longer even bother pressing charges at all... Hunter Biden, Paul & Nancy Pelosi, Hillary & Bill Clinton, Joseph R. Biden & family, etc. etc. etc.
So if I were Trump... and after 7 years of BS witchhunts. I'd of exercised my 5th Amendment Right by flipping AG James the bird 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕 times👌.

You do know the case in NY is a "civil" case, not a criminal one.
The Fifth Amendment states in part, that “No person. . . shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself.”
"While in a criminal procedure, the court must instruct the jury that it cannot draw an inference of guilt from a defendant’s failure to testify about facts relevant to his case, (Griffin v. California (1965) 80 U.S. 609). I n civil cases, “the Fifth Amendment does not forbid adverse inferences against parties to civil actions when they refuse to testify in response to probative evidence offered against them.” (Baxter v. Palmigiano (1976) 425 U.S. 308, 318.)
Under Baxter, an opposing party can’t simply point to the silence and claim victory in their civil case. A court is entitled to draw adverse inferences against the party who “pleads the Fifth.” As Justice Brandeis said, “Silence is often evidence of the most persuasive character.” (United States ex rel. Bilokumsky v. Tod (1923) 263 U.S. 149, 153-154.)
Trump actually played right into AG James hands. New York follows the Baxter ruling and his 5th is actually going to hurt him here rather than help. But it's only money, and he got to give AG James the bird.
What is even more worrisome for Trump is after the Hillary email scandal Trump signed into law a bill that increases the punishments for those who mishandle classified information making it a felony with imprisonment up to five years. If the outcome from the Mar A Lago warrant finds he has indeed mishandled classified information then he can take the 5th all he wants because that is "criminal". See the difference between civil and criminal? He really is a genius isn't he?

Kind of, when you think about it.
All the resources and investigations poured into him since 2015, and he's still a free man....
He even got to finish out his term...despite multiple attempts to oust him from office prematurely.
Why so many failures up to this point?
My money would be on the Teflon working again...how could it not be?

He did not serve me well when he became president, aside from that, he should enjoy life.
