A final point. Anyone who still claims there is no such thing as the “Deep State,” should be laughed at. Throughout the Trump administration, we saw example after example of bureaucrats making their own rules and ignoring laws and orders they didn’t like. We’ve also seen the Deep State close ranks to defend members who were exposed. A lawyer perjures himself to obtain a FISA warrant and gets probation, and has his law license restored. An FBI official attempts a coup and is allowed to retire. Former intelligence officials actively collaborated in a plot to bring down a president with no repercussions. The fact that Birx can write a book laying out her own duplicity and have it favorably greeted by much of the media shows just how deep the Deep State goes.

It's called the "noble lie". That's what I've been screaming about for last few years now. They are so wildly arrogant, they believe it's their duty to lie to all the peons like us to accomplish their goals. If that doesn't work, then it's OK to mandate their goals. They are totalitarian slime. And please don't react negatively to me for using the word "slime" to describe these people. This is not an honest debate between people with slightly different values or solutions to common problems. One thing I was certain about when they started lockdowns and mandates was that many of them would not follow their own rules. And we saw that time and time again.

And with no doubt these same types would never rig...cheat and steal an election. Cause all those people that wanted Trump were incapable of making the right choice. They had to save them from themselves. Nah they'd never do that...

How far is overboard? Covid was real. People were dying. We didn't have experience with this disease and what was a responsible reaction? When you protect your family, you do the most prudent thing. If people who are supposed to know tell you to stand on your head you do that.
And if someone uses that power to abuse your family, you put them in prison. And then you want to know how that could happen so it doesn't happen again.
