it's amazing what members of Congress have been allowed to get away with...imagine they had to pass that act to get them to report shit...

They've literally been able to trade LEGALLY on inside information FOREVER.

That's why they all exit fat and rich...then they go work in the private sector and get even richer.

And people put their TRUST into these people to tell them the truth, when their entire careers are spent HIDING and MISLEADING the public.

And the left wants to go on and on about how the RIGHT is destroying our "precious democracy???"

Fuck you.

The country is dead. Has been for a while.

this is a sick one

https://www.markey.senate.gov/news/p...r-young-people

2 days before, these senators unloaded their netflix shares.

these politicians say and do outrageous things to ignite our emotions, and out the back door they are stealing our money and not going to jail for it. +

when i was a kid, they taught us to invest in good company's and have a long term timeframe. it was supposed to be good for the country and myself.

today, you go long term, you lose your money and you are the sucker.

i hate to admit it, but i agree with the board director here, this place is screwed and won't come back this time around.

Eddie Marxist Markie beat a Kennedy the last time out to win his senate seat. he's a dope and is doing nothing for Massachusetts. the other senator we have here is an idiot as well, Elizabeth Warren. they happen to be Democras, but i see some bad Republicans elsewhere.

All once great empires eventually fall.

If they don't get conquered, then they rot from within.

We are almost completely rotten...

When you've reached the point where the President of the United States gets BANNED from social media while the President of Russia's official twitter account is still ALIVE AND KICKING (even after the Ukraine invasion), not to mention the TALIBAN's twitter account...

and you LOCK UP people accused of TRESSPASSING on 1/6 for over a year without a trial, but you have politicians rushing to bail out people who were arrested during the Summer 2020 riots/protests...

you know something is seriously fucked up...

But this is kind of off-topic from the thread at hand...call it some weekend banter when the markets are closed...

My guy at JP Morgan, who has no qualifications to be a wealth advisor, but that is his job. he has 120 fairly large accounts that he services with the JP Morgan products. lately he has been getting calls from some of his scared clients wanting to redeem their investments, in other words get out of the trap they are in. the way Jp Morgan has their funds structured, it will always take a few days to cash them in. the company came up with lines for this wealth advisor to try to convince his clients to stay in the market. like JP Morgan is always looking out for them, and that all these markets are doing is trying scare good people out of them before they run up to new highs. they are preaching to stay the course.

The volume was higher for Friday's pullback day compared to the previous two down days...which tells me S&P futures are probably heading back to test the 20d moving average...as usual....

this is just a game of speculation, i had speculated that the S+P was going to close below 3800 and then get a bounce. so now i am speculating that its going to stay above that number until its ready to plow down and get into lower numbers. it doesn't really matter what i think or anyone else for that matter. ultimately the markets are going to do what they are going to do.

i am going to stress this point, to me, the whole thing looks quite ugly. intraday the S+P had officially been in bear market territory. when all the indices are down 20% off the top, you will get some heavy duty severe downward pressure for a long long time.

a billionaire just added these 3 stocks to his portfolio..

Freeport MdMoran @ 36 per share FCX

Chevron @167 per share CVX

Cotera Energy @ 30 per share CTRA

these stocks may be getting ready to take off.

these stocks are all classified as value stocks. i am not seeing much buying in growth stocks.

Is 20% the support level ?

4800 (S&P High) - 20% (960) = 3840

2 times it got in that range and bounced higher...

any thoughts....?

not you Lamb...lol
