Ex jock Rod Madrigal Jr now running a food truck.

Retired with almost 2,000 wins and now he's running his own food truck. I saw an interview with him online from last year with a local news station (can't seem to find the link now) but he seemed happy with his retirement and now running his own business.

Rod is still on the racetrack as well. He gallops for his parents nearly every day and has been spotted on quite a few workers. While his long term interest may lie in the food industry, it would not surprise me to see Rod riding again this year.
I know he is logging 25 miles or so jogging each week and his weight is nearing riding weight.

Looking forward to see what the future holds for him.

Great info, good to see him back in the saddle, he can get back to his quest for 2k lifetime wins if he decides to start riding again.
